Fort Augoda is a 17th Century well maintained Portuguese Fort. (Closes at 5:30 pm)

Freshwater springs & water storage places inside Fort.

Light House inside Fort Augoda.

Sinquerim Beach.

You can book Scuba Diving activity from activity centers near Sinquerim Beach.

Dolphin viewing activity can be done in mornings by hiring a boat.

Recreational activities such as Night Clubs, Jewelry Shopping and Salons & Spas etc. can be done near Sinquerim beach.

Bird watchers & Photographers Paradise

Salim Ali Birds Sanctuary

How to reach: One needs to take a bus from Panajim to Ribandar Ferry Wharf & then need to take a ferry to Chorao (Ferry charges – Free), Salim Ali Birds Sanctuary is walking distance from Chorao Ferry Wharf. (15min. Ferry Journey)

Special Permissions: To be taken From “Chief Wild Life Warden, Forest Department, Junta House, Panjim” (Discuss at your Hotel Reception, sometimes permissions may not be required)

Nominal Entry Fee + Camera charges applicable

Hire a Guide (Contact 9822538127, Mr. Uday*, Extra Charges applicable) & Boat (Approx. Rs. 750 / 10 persons on boat) if you are a new bird watcher.

Dusk & Dawn are the best time for bird watching.

Variety of Local & Migratory Birds can be viewed in the Sanctuary.

Place For Crocodile Spotting

How to reach: Hire a Self-Drive Two wheeler / Four Wheeler. 30 Min. Ride/Drive (Approx. 17 Km) from Panajim City. Govt. State Transport buses are also available from Panajim Bus Stand.

What to See:

Cumbarjua is a small island town on banks of river Mandovi.

Cumbarjua canal is a place for Indian “Mugger” Crocodile sighting and the canal stretch is almost 15 Km. long.

One can hire a boat (Charges extra applicable) to explore Wild Crocodiles & Birds; Boats can be hired from Old Goa Jetty or Cortalim Ferry Wharf, Contact Mr. Kamat of Crocodile Station for hiring a boat, Cell No – 9822127936.

What to Explore:

Varieties of Spices are grown in the farm.

Don’t forget to see Gobar Gas Plant.

Theoretical & Practical Knowledge regarding medicinal uses, culinary uses of grown spices is imparted.

The restaurant operated by this farm offers welcome drinks on arrival. Also, Enjoy Cashew Feni which is offered Free of Charge*.

The Natural Marvel

Netravali Lake

How to reach: Two Hour’s Drive from Panajim City. (Approx. 80 Km), Hire a Self-Drive Two wheeler / Four Wheeler from Panajim City. Govt. State Transport buses to Netravali Sanctuary are also available from Panajim Bus Stand.

What to Explore:

Netravali Lake is also known as “Bubble Lake” or “Budbudyanchi Taley” & it’s a Beautiful Natural Marvel.

Bubble comes from the Lake when any vibrations such as clapping done. More the vibrations, more the bubbles generated.

One can put her or his legs in the Pond to have Natural Relaxing Fish Pedicure.

India’s Most Powerful Waterfall

Beware of Fraud Guides; they will make your life miserable.

How to reach: Check whether Dudhsagar falls is open or closed with your Hotel Reception. Avoid Self Driving. The waterfall is located on Goa-Karnataka Border. Take a bus from Panajim to Belgavi for Mollem (70 Km, approx. 2 Hr. Journey) Frequency of buses are good, From Mollem take a bus to Kolum (7 Km, 30 Min. Journey) frequency of buses are good, Arrangements to reach Dudhsagar Falls is done by Local authorities through their Vehicles (Max. Intake in one vehicle is 7 persons). Private Vehicles are not allowed to enter the Dudhsagar sanctuary. Entry Fee, Conveyance fee & Life Jacket Fee approximately Rs.500/- is charged. Life Jacket is compulsory due to deep waters at falls. You can swim near Swimming Point. Dudhsagar Falls is approximately 10 Km from Sanctuary Gate. Maximum time one can spend at the fall is 1.5 Hrs. The waterfall is around 15 minutes walking distance from the vehicle parking area. Plastics are No-No in Sanctuary; you can only keep your water bottles with you & no other plastic things are allowed. Cameras are allowed by paying Camera Fees.

What to Explore:

A Dudhsagar waterfall (Sea of Milk) is undoubtedly the most Scenic & Spectacular place in Goa that needs to be explored.

As the water plummets down it looks like a Flow of Foamy Milk, thus the name Dudhsagar.

The waterfall is Four Tiered & most powerful waterfall in India and is approximately 1071 Ft. in Height.
